Early Life
Vanessa Minnillo grew up in Harlingen, Texas but was born as Vanessa Joy Minnillo on the 9th of November, 1980 in Angeles, Pampanga, Philippines at the USAF Clark Regional Medical Center. She has an American nationality by birth, her father, Vincent, is an American citizen while her mother Helen is from Philippines.
Vincent Jr. whom Vanessa adopted is two years elder to her. When Minnillo was a child, her family was in the Air Force, so the family moved often and she was born in California and lived in Florida later, then in Nevada and Washington currently, as well as in Japan and Germany.
They divorced in 1986 after which her father got married again. Helen; she married a new man and later, Vanessa and Vincent Jr. relocated to Turkey together with her. They had moved back to America where they now lived with their father after he had remarried to a woman called Donna in Charleston South Carolina.
Minnillo has education from Bishop England High School, a Roman Catholic school where she was a cheerleader. She also went to school in San Bernardino, California, and was a one-year student at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School.

Vanessa entered beauty pageants and was a Miss South Carolina Teen USA and in 1998 won the Miss Teen USA title, which made her the first one from South Carolina to do so, and in addition she was also awarded Miss Congeniality.
She has been a host or co-host for some of the beauty contests among them being “Miss Universe 2007,” “Miss USA 2018,” and “Miss Universe 2019.”
In 2003 Minnillo shifted to hosting ‘Total Request Live’ on MTV and in 2005, she joined ‘Entertainment Tonight’ as a correspondent in 2007, Vanessa posed for print and internet campaigns for BONGO Jeans and co-designed Flirt! Cosmetics and became the brand ambassador of the company.
The lovely lady has appeared on the cover of “Maxim”, October 2005 and October 2006, “Shape”, March 2007, and “Lucky”, July 2007.
