Martin had three sons with Natascha, Theodore Kelly, born in 2000, Otis Kelly, born in May 2003, and the youngest one, Rex Kelly, was born in October 2008 five months after Martin’s death. On May 20, 2008, Martin was found leaning on his doorway at Fulham by one of his colleagues. He was rushed to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He was declared dead one day after his 10th wedding anniversary. He was 43 years old at that time. When this happened, Natascha was in Los Angeles where she was filming the TV drama Californication. The news devastated Natascha who was pregnant with his third child at that time. According to a postmortem report, he died of dilated cardiomyopathy. Martin was survived by his wife and three sons.
